This group contains papers referred to the Board of Health who administered Bonaventure and Laurel Grove Cemeteries. The papers include reports and petitions on the transfer of cemetery lots, maintenance, interments, and the sale of lots. These reports and petitions were submitted to the Mayor and City Council and then referred to the Board of Health for approval. This record group is divided into two sections: Bonaventure Cemetery and Laurel Grove Cemetery. Within each cemetery the papers have been divided into transfer of lots, maintenance and interments and sale of lots.
